Prof. Deng Li is a Chair Professor for the Prevention of Microbial Infectious Diseases at the TUM School of Life Sciences, Technical University of Munich (TUM), and Joint Director of the Central Institute of Infection Prevention (ZIP) since 2023. Her academic career includes postdoctoral training at the University of Arizona, followed by leadership roles at Helmholtz Munich, including heading DFG Emmy Noether and Helmholtz Young Investigator groups.
