Deloris Sutton is a Biologist working in the Pathology Support department within the Division of Translational Toxicology at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS).
Her research focuses on environmental health sciences with specialization in pathology techniques including electron microscopy, histology, imaging sciences, and immunohistochemistry. These methodologies are essential for understanding the effects of environmental exposures on biological systems at the cellular and tissue levels.
As part of the Pathology Support team, Dr. Sutton works alongside colleagues including Ashley Paragone, Eli Ney, Glenda M. Corniffe, Heather Jensen, Mark A. Rubino, Quashana Brown, Renee D. Fisher, Willie Cunningham, and Robert Sills in the Comparative Medicine division. Her work contributes to the mission of the Division of Translational Toxicology, which supports the National Toxicology Program (NTP) - an interagency partnership involving the Food and Drug Administration, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and NIEHS.
