Suramya Waidyanatha

Suramya Waidyanatha, Ph.D., is a Chemist and Group Leader at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) within the Division of Translational Toxicology (DTT). He leads the Chemistry and ADME Resources Group, focusing on chemical interactions, exposure analysis, and toxicological research methodologies.

His research interests include the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME) of environmental chemicals, computational toxicology, and the development of tools for exposure-based toxicology. He contributes to the National Toxicology Program (NTP), an interagency partnership involving the FDA, NIOSH, and NIEHS, and supports initiatives like the use of in vitro lung models in inhalation toxicology research.
