Deirdre Troy is an LSE Fellow in Political Theory at the Department of Government, London School of Economics and Political Science. Her research focuses on citizenship, immigration, and banishment through a historical lens, examining Britain's imperial legacy and its ongoing impact on citizenship practices. She holds a PhD from Queen Mary, University of London, supervised by Professors Kimberly Hutchings and Engin Isin.
