Deirdre O'Boy is Lecturer in English and Director of the CUNY Institute for Irish-American Studies at Lehman College. Her research examines globalization and migration themes in contemporary Irish literature.
She teaches literature and composition courses with a focus on diasporic narratives and transnational cultural exchange. O'Boy holds master's degrees in English from Fordham University and Irish Studies from New York University.
Her scholarly work investigates how migration patterns reshape literary expression and identity politics in modern Irish writing.
