Dr. Dein Vindigni is a Lecturer in Chiropractic at RMIT University's School of Health and Biomedical Sciences. With 35 years of clinical practice and voluntary healthcare experience, he transitioned to academia in 2015, focusing on research and teaching. He founded Hands-On-Health Australia (HOHA), a nonprofit providing Allied and Complementary Healthcare to underserved communities. His research emphasizes Indigenous Health, Healthy Ageing, and community-based rehabilitation for disadvantaged populations. Key projects include studies on vibration therapy for balance improvement in older adults, healthcare worker resilience during pandemics, and interdisciplinary approaches to aging. He supervises PhD/Masters students in areas like Timor-Leste healthcare partnerships and Indigenous clinic evaluations. Awards include the Order of Australia Medal (OAM). His work bridges clinical practice with community health equity, particularly in rural and Indigenous contexts.
