Deepika Das is an Assistant Teaching Professor and Director of Curricular Programs at the Forensic and National Security Sciences Institute (FNSSI) within Syracuse University's College of Arts and Sciences. She joined in Fall 2022 as a non-tenure-track faculty member, focusing on forensic science education and curricular development.

Research Interests: Dr. Das specializes in chemical education, particularly integrating intermolecular forces (IMFs) into laboratory course design. Her work emphasizes backward-design methodologies to enhance student understanding of abstract chemical concepts through practical applications in forensic and analytical chemistry.
