Deepanshu Verma

Deepanshu Verma is a PhD Student and Researcher at Rovira i Virgili University (Spain), affiliated with the research group of Prof. Beatriz Prieto-Simón at ICIQ (Institut Català d’Investigació Química). His research focuses on developing innovative biosensing platforms for early-stage infectious disease diagnosis, building on his background in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from Amity University, India (BSc and MSc). He has been actively engaged in research since 2014 and leads an NGO since 2016, dedicated to providing education to underprivileged children.

His projects emphasize the design of cost-effective, portable biosensors for rapid disease detection, with applications in global health and point-of-care testing. He also explores biomaterials for enhancing sensor sensitivity and specificity.
