Bahareh Khezri

Dr. Bahareh Khezri is an ICREA Professor at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) and an Associated Researcher at the Institut Català d’Investigació Química (ICIQ), leading the SFM-GE&R group. She specializes in nanoscience, focusing on hybrid multifunctional materials for energy applications and nanorobotics. Her academic journey includes a PhD from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and postdoctoral roles at institutions like the University of Cambridge and the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague.

Education:

• BSc and MSc in Chemistry from Isfahan University of Technology and Isfahan University, Iran
• PhD in Analytical Chemistry at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

Research Interests: Designing materials for energy (e.g., water splitting, CO₂ reduction), developing self-propelled microrobots, and advancing electrocatalysis. Her work bridges nanotechnology, environmental science, and sustainable chemistry.
