Deepa Rastogi

Deepa Rastogi, M.B.,B.S., M.S., is a Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, holding dual appointments in the Departments of Pediatrics (Pediatric Respiratory & Sleep Medicine) and Pathology. She serves as Chief of the Division of Pediatric Respiratory & Sleep Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. Her research focuses on mechanisms underlying obesity-related asthma in children, particularly the role of epigenetics and systemic inflammation. Dr. Rastogi’s work emphasizes non-atopic inflammatory pathways in obese asthmatic children, with a focus on T cell-airway interactions and metabolic contributors.
