Dr. Deepa Devasenapathy is a full-time faculty member at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), serving as an Instructor II in the Department of Computing & Software Engineering within the U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University (2017), an M.Tech. in Communication Systems from SRM Institute of Science and Technology (2007), and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Madras (2000).
Her research and teaching interests span Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Image Processing, Wireless Networks, and Software Testing. She specializes in innovative pedagogical techniques to engage students and promote success in AI-related fields. Dr. Devasenapathy emphasizes mentorship, guiding students toward internships and research opportunities in academia and industry.
