Dee Anderson is a Senior Lecturer in Child Health Nursing at Middlesex University's Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education, where she serves as Director of Programmes for the BSc Honours Nursing-Child degree. She leads departmental quality assurance and service user engagement initiatives while coordinating the partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Learning Academy.
With clinical expertise spanning burns/plastics, neonatology, and haemoglobinopathies, her research examines nursing education methodologies including simulated learning, clinical skills development, and adolescent mental health support competencies.
She currently leads the module 'Developing Professional Nursing Practice in Children and Young People's Nursing' and has published on nursing students' preparedness for LGBTQ+ adolescent care.
