Declan Humphreys

Dr Declan Humphreys is a Lecturer in Cyber Security at the School of Science, Technology and Engineering at the University of the Sunshine Coast. He coordinates courses on ethics in cyber security, covering topics such as surveillance, disinformation, ethical design, and corporate responsibility. His research explores the intersection of artificial intelligence, ethics, and societal impact, with a focus on epistemic harms, AI replicas of deceased individuals, and algorithmic market risks.
