Professor Declan A Diver is a Professor of Plasma Physics at the SUPA School of Physics & Astronomy, University of Glasgow. His research focuses on plasma physics, encompassing both low-energy phenomena (ionization fronts, plasma chemistry, surface charging) and high-energy phenomena (pair plasmas in pulsar magnetospheres, relativistic plasma dynamics). He leads the Microplasma-assisted manipulation of airborne bacteria project (EP/K006142/1) and contributes to solar/plasma astrophysics research (ST/I001808/1). He authored the textbook Plasma Formulary for Physics, Astronomy & Technology and co-founded Anacail Ltd, a spin-out company.
