Debra Lattanzi Shutika is a Professor in Cultural Studies at George Mason University, specializing in contemporary Irish folklore, sense of place, Appalachian studies, and transnational migration. She directs the Mason-Library of Congress Field School for Cultural Documentation and teaches courses in ethnographic fieldwork, digital storytelling, and folklore.
