Debra Janas

Debra Janas is Chair of the Department of Education and a Professor at Baldwin Wallace University. She coordinates the Intervention Specialist Program and teaches courses on individualized education programs (IEPs), remediation, differentiated instruction, response to intervention, and assessment. Her work emphasizes integrating IEP goals into classroom routines and preparing educators through interdisciplinary personnel training.

Her research focuses on supporting teachers to design effective IEP goals, data collection plans, and decision-making for children with disabilities.
