Debra Byler

Debra Byler is a Professor and Vice Chair for Education in the Department of Pediatrics, Chief of the Division of Neurology, and Professor in the Department of Neurology at Penn State University. She is affiliated with the Penn State Neuroscience Institute.

Research Interests: Her work focuses on Tourette Syndrome, complementary and alternative medicine applications in pediatric neurology, neuropsychiatric conditions, and genetic disorders like intractable epilepsy and gene mutations (e.g., DNM1, RYR1). She also investigates comorbid conditions and symptom management.
