Deborah Shore is an Adjunct Professor of Law with over 16 years of experience in legal academia. She has taught legal practice skills courses at Rutgers University School of Law – Camden and Seton Hall University School of Law, contributing significantly to clinical and practical legal education.
Her research and professional interests center on legal education and litigation skills. With a strong background in both trial and appellate court clerkships, she brings real-world legal experience into the classroom. Her work emphasizes practical training, including trial advocacy, legal writing, and mock trial instruction.
Ms. Shore has been actively involved in legal education outreach, serving on the Mock Trial Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation and as a certified ESL tutor with Literacy Volunteers of Camden County. These roles reflect her commitment to public service and legal accessibility.
She began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Stephen M. Orlofsky, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and later served as an appellate law clerk to the Honorable Phyllis W. Beck, Superior Court of Pennsylvania. She also practiced as a litigation associate at Obermayer, Rebmann, Maxwell & Hippel in Philadelphia and worked as a legal editor with Gann Law Books in Newark, New Jersey.
