Deborah L Hart

Deborah L Hart is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine with 33 years of service. She holds a BS in Biology (1976) and DMD (1982) from the University of Pittsburgh. Her career includes 30 years in the US Air Force Dental Corps (7 years active duty, 23 years reserve), where she served as Chief of Dental Services at multiple bases and Medical Squadron Commander. She previously worked as a clinical instructor at Tufts Dental School and in private practice in Boston.

Her research interests focus on clinical dentistry and military healthcare integration. With extensive experience in both academic and military settings, she contributes to dental education and comprehensive care practices.
