Deborah Huelsbergen

Deborah Huelsbergen is a Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor in the School of Visual Studies at the University of Missouri, specializing in Graphic Design. She teaches courses in Packaging, Corporate Identity, Branding, Calligraphy, Hand Lettering, and Foundations in Graphic Design for Non-Majors, including sections in the Honors College.

Her research and practice focus on graphic design for social impact, particularly through collaborations with non-profit organizations across global regions. She integrates mandala art into her work, emphasizing therapeutic applications and stress relief through creative processes.

Deborah is a partner in a design studio with Ric Wilson, serving clients in social service organizations worldwide. Her contributions to design pedagogy and student mentorship are highlighted by multiple awards.
