Deborah Dunlap

Deborah Dunlap is an Associate Professor of Design at Winthrop University's College of Visual and Performing Arts. She holds a DEL from the University of Charleston (2019), MS in Interior Design from University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2011), and BFA from Winthrop University (1999). Her research explores interior design applications including organizational leadership, well building design, evidence-based design, and environmental psychology.

Professionally, she founded Dunlap Interiors, Inc. serving residential and commercial clients, and consults for Fin-Tech businesses focusing on retail solutions. Her design philosophy emphasizes clean lines, quality materials, and functional space planning influenced by Western European and American architectural styles.
