Dr. Deborah Callaghan is a Senior Lecturer in Business & Management at Edge Hill University’s Business School, serving as Programme Leader for multiple undergraduate BSc (Hons) programmes. Her career includes roles at Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Liverpool, with prior leadership in part-time Business & Management programmes and year-head responsibilities at Edge Hill.
She holds a PhD from the University of Liverpool (2019), focusing on anti-bullying interventions in UK police forces. Her research bridges policy and practice gaps, emphasizing workplace dynamics, CSR, and organizational spin. Key interests include workplace justice, knowledge transfer in MNEs, and entrepreneurial marketing in biased markets.
Her publications span green practices, marketing agility in immigrant entrepreneurship, and HRM innovations in Big Four firms. She serves as External Examiner for BPP University and the University of Lincoln, and has contributed to conferences like the British Academy of Management and the International Critical Management Studies.
Dr. Callaghan is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (2012) and Aurora Programme Graduate (2017), with memberships in the International Association of Workplace Bullying and Harassment and Chartered Management Institute.
