Dr. Deborah Adewole is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Animal and Poultry Science at the University of Saskatchewan (College of Agriculture and Bioresources). She holds an adjunct position at Dalhousie University's Department of Animal Science and Aquaculture. Her research focuses on nonruminant nutrition, particularly poultry and swine, with emphasis on nutritional strategies to improve gut health through microbiome analysis, histomorphometry, and metabolomics. She investigates antibiotic alternatives and novel feed ingredients to enhance animal health during physiological stress.
Education: PhD in Monogastric Nutritional Biochemistry (University of Manitoba), MSc in Swine Nutrition (University of Manitoba), BSc in Soil Science (Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria).
