Deborah A. Lott is an Adjunct Professor at Antioch University Los Angeles, where she teaches creative and academic writing. She earned a BA in English Literature (Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from UCLA and an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles. Her career spans publishing, editing for Psychiatric Times, and academic work at the National Center for Child Traumatic Stress (UCLA/Duke).
Lott’s research interests encompass therapeutic transference dynamics, feminist theory, trauma portrayals in literature, historical psychiatry, and the intersection of faith and rationality.
