Debmalya Basak is a Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, Germany, focusing on Analytic Number Theory. Previously, he was a Ph.D. student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2021–2025), advised by Prof. Alexandru Zaharescu and Prof. Jesse Thorner.
