Debbie Isobel Keeling is Professor of Marketing and Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor for Knowledge Exchange at the University of Sussex Business School. She previously served as Interim Executive Dean and Associate Dean of Engagement, and has held academic positions at Loughborough University and the University of Manchester. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Marketing Science and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society.
Research Interests: Her research spans health and social care, B2B channel enablement, and market-facing technologies. She focuses on digital inclusion, e-Health technologies, stakeholder engagement, and the use of augmented and virtual reality in consumer experiences. Her work emphasizes co-creation, digital equity, and the psychological mechanisms underlying immersive technologies.
Publication Trends: Her recent publications reflect a strong focus on digital health, AI in services, and immersive technologies. She explores how AR/VR can enhance customer engagement, how AI impacts service interactions, and how digital tools can be designed inclusively—especially for marginalized communities.
