Debbie Denton

Debbie Denton is a Senior Teaching Fellow at Lancaster University's Management School, specializing in Marketing. With prior experience in sales and marketing roles in the UK drinks and hospitality industries, including Head of Marketing Services and Brand Director positions, she brings practical expertise to her academic work. Her teaching focuses on marketing strategy, channels, retailing, and innovation, with a strong emphasis on integrating ethics and sustainability into product design, packaging, and supply chains. She also leads initiatives in student development and academic employability.

As Academic Employability Champion and Core Skills lead, she ensures inclusive career support for students. Current roles include module leadership for Marketing Core Skills, Routes to Market, and Marketing in Practice, alongside mentoring GTAs and adjunct staff. In 2024, she participated in the 'Smart Learning: AI and Digital Technologies' workshop, contributing to discussions on technology's role in education.
