She concurrently holds the position of CEO at Wilp Wilxo'oskwhl Nisga'a (Nisga'a university-college), where she oversees institutional operations, educational planning, and programming while fostering partnerships with other post-secondary institutions for Nass Valley program delivery.
Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Master of Education in Educational Administration (M.Ed.), and an Interdisciplinary PhD. Dr. Nyce pioneered templates for Aboriginal curriculum development and has advocated extensively for Indigenous education with the BC Ministry of Education, frequently serving as a guest lecturer across British Columbia's educational institutions.

This work directly informed her role as one of five key architects establishing the Nisga'a university-college and its formal affiliation agreement with UNBC.
Her contributions have been recognized through:
- Aboriginal Woman of Distinction Award (2004)
- Forging of our Future with Education Award (2004)
Through her dual leadership at UNBC and Nisga'a university-college, Dr. Nyce continues to advance Indigenous educational sovereignty while bridging traditional knowledge systems with contemporary academic frameworks.
