De Angela Duff is an Industry Professor in Integrated Design & Media (IDM) at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and Associate Vice Provost at New York University. She oversees technology-enhanced teaching initiatives, including generative AI, and leads the FRN Leadership Initiative and Teach Share programs. Her work bridges design, art, and technology with a focus on education innovation and Prince studies. She has held leadership roles at NYU, Spelman College, and The University of the Arts, and her teaching spans over 25 years.
- Education Background: Extensive administrative and faculty experience since 1999, with curriculum development in emerging media at multiple institutions
Research Interests: Tech-Enhanced Education, Generative AI, Prince's cultural legacy, and project management. Her work combines academic rigor with creative industry insights, reflected in publications on Prince's discography and music culture.
Awards: Recipient of NYU Tandon's 2018 Distinguished Teaching Award for her pedagogical contributions.
