Dayle M. Smith, Ph.D., serves as Dean of the LMU College of Business Administration, where she drives strategy, operations, and fundraising for executive, graduate, and undergraduate programs. She is President of the International Association of Jesuit Business Schools (IAJBS) and holds leadership roles in organizations like the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation and the World Trade Center Los Angeles Advisory Board.
- Education: Ph.D. in Organizational Communication (University of Southern California), B.A. in Communication Studies (University of Texas, Arlington)
Smith’s research focuses on leadership, communication, and organizational behavior, with an emphasis on innovation, entrepreneurship, and the global role of B-Corps. She has authored over 25 books and numerous articles, while leading initiatives like the UN PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education) at LMU.
