Dr. Dawn Bresnahan is an Associate Professor of Animal Science at Berry College, specializing in reproductive physiology with a focus on equine reproductive success and maternal body condition effects. She holds a B.S. in Agriculture from the University of Georgia, an M.S. and Ph.D. in Veterinary Science from the University of Kentucky, and postdoctoral training in assisted reproductive techniques at Colorado State University.
Her research explores interactions between obesity/metabolic disorders and equine fertility, as well as assisted reproductive technologies for endangered species. Key interests include oocyte and embryo development, follicular physiology, and metabolic syndrome impacts. Teaching responsibilities include Reproductive Physiology and Anatomy and Physiology courses.
