Davide Calebiro

Davide Calebiro is a Professor of Molecular Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Systems Science at the University of Birmingham, affiliated with the Birmingham Centre for Neurogenetics. His research focuses on G Protein-coupled Receptors (GPCRs), Protein Kinase A, and their roles in endocrinology, metabolism, and genetic diseases.

Recent research trends include characterizing GNAS variants in cortisol-producing tumors, advancing endomembrane GPCR signaling, developing fluorescent probes for opioid receptors, and investigating mutation-specific effects in rare diseases. His work spans biochemistry, molecular biology, and drug discovery.
