معرفی
Davide Brambilla is an Associate Professor at the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Pharmacy, affiliated with the Groupe de recherche universitaire sur le médicament (GRUM) and Centre québécois sur les matériaux fonctionnels (CQMF). His research focuses on biomaterials, nanotechnology, and advanced drug delivery systems.
Education includes a PhD in Pharmacy from Université Paris Saclay (2012) and postdoctoral training at ETH Zurich (2017). Research interests encompass:
- Polymeric microneedle design for diagnostics
- Nanoscale drug vectorization
- Biomaterial formulations for therapeutic applications
- Transdermal delivery systems
Recent publications demonstrate strong focus on microneedle technologies (2025), nanoparticle-mediated gene editing (2024), and novel treatments for metabolic disorders (2024). Primary research themes include transdermal drug delivery innovations, nanocarrier systems for gene therapy, and biomaterial applications for neurological disorders.
Current research projects include:
- Design of microneedles for medical applications (2025-2031)
- Lysosomal acid lipase deficiency therapy (2023-2029)
- NSERC CREATE Training Program in Controlled Release (2021-2027)
