David Y Hwang, MD, is an Associate Professor Adjunct in the Department of Neurology at Yale School of Medicine and a neurointensivist at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He joined Yale in 2012 after completing his residency and fellowship at Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals. His academic work focuses on prognostication for severe acute brain injury, ICU decision-making, and family support systems.
