David Wellsted

David Wellsted is a Professor of Applied Health Science at the University of Hertfordshire, leading the Health Research Methods Unit and directing the University’s Clinical Trials Support Network (CTSN). His work bridges physical and mental health, focusing on complex interventions in long-term conditions like End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). He has overseen over £20M in funded clinical trials, with 164+ research outputs since 1997.
