David Weinberger, Ph.D., is an affiliate researcher at Harvard University's Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society, where he has held roles including Fellow since 2004, senior researcher, and member of the Fellows Advisory Board. His work explores the philosophical and societal implications of technology, particularly AI and the Internet, on knowledge, ethics, and human agency. A former co-director of the Harvard Library Innovation Lab and journalism fellow at the Shorenstein Center, he has advised tech companies, presidential campaigns, and governmental bodies like the U.S. State Department. His influential books include Everyday Chaos (2024), Too Big to Know (2012), and The Cluetrain Manifesto (2000). He currently edits the Strong Ideas book series for MIT Press.
