Professor David Webb is a leading academic at the University of Edinburgh, holding the Christison Chair of Therapeutics and Clinical Pharmacology. He serves as the Lead of the Hypertension and Renal Theme (HART) at the Queen's Medical Research Institute (QMRI) and directs the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) Hypertension Excellence Centre in Edinburgh, coordinating hypertension services in Lothian.
