University of California, Los Angelesمعرفی
David Wayne Dawson is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). His research focuses on pancreatic cancer, gastrointestinal pathology, and molecular oncology. Key themes include Wnt signaling, metabolic reprogramming, and epigenetic mechanisms in cancer progression.
His recent publications (2017-2024) highlight expertise in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, tumor microenvironment, and novel therapeutic strategies. Collaborations with Timothy Donahue, Guido Eibl, and others underscore his leadership in UCLA's pancreatic cancer research. He holds an MD and PhD from Northwestern University and completed anatomic pathology training at UCLA.
- Education: BS in Zoology (Duke), MD/PhD (Northwestern), Anatomic Pathology (UCLA)

His work spans translational cancer models, epigenetic silencing, and precision medicine applications. While no formal awards are listed, his 15+ publications in Molecular Cancer Therapeutics, Gastroenterology, and Clinical Cancer Research demonstrate significant contributions to understanding obesity-diet interactions in pancreatic neoplasia and Wnt-dependent tumor mechanisms.
