David W. Craig

David W. Craig is a Professor of Biochemistry in the Department of Chemistry at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. He has served on the faculty since 1979 and co-directs the Alcohol Education Project with Professor Wesley Perkins. His research spans biochemistry, social norms theory, and public health interventions with a focus on college student populations.

Dr. Craig received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside in 1977 and his B.A. from California State University at Chico. His academic career has focused on innovative teaching methods and interdisciplinary research that bridges biochemistry with practical public health concerns.
