David Stott

David Stott is an Associate Professor and Director of the School of Accountancy at Ohio University's College of Business. He joined the faculty in 2016 and holds the O’Bleness Professorship in Accountancy.

Dr. Stott's research focuses on financial accounting and reporting, auditing practices, and accounting conceptual frameworks. He actively participates in professional organizations, serving as Council Chair for the American Accounting Association. His industry experience includes working at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Houston prior to returning to academia.
