David Sams

David Sams is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Marietta College. He has been actively involved in teaching courses such as Physical Examination I/II, Clinical Medicine I/II, and serves as Course Coordinator for Research Methods I/II. Born and raised in the Athens area, Sams returned to southeastern Ohio after five years of practicing community and migrant health in North Carolina. He emphasizes the importance of education in shaping future medical professionals and maintains an office in the PA Building 308 for student engagement.
