David Rosowsky

David Rosowsky is a Foundation Professor at Arizona State University (ASU), where he also serves as Senior Advisor to the President and Senior Fellow at the University Design Institute. Previously, he held senior leadership roles as Vice President for Research at Kansas State University, Provost and Senior Vice President at the University of Vermont, Dean of Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Head of the Zachry Department of Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University.

His research focuses on structural reliability, hazard modeling, wind and earthquake engineering, and the impact of climate change on natural hazards. He has authored or co-authored over 170 peer-reviewed journal papers and 150 conference proceedings, contributing to probability-based codified design and post-disaster structural assessment.
