David R. Fuhrman is a Professor of Coastal Dynamics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering. His research focuses on coastal engineering, including sediment transport, turbulence modeling, and wave hydrodynamics. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles and contributed to the development of OpenFOAM's turbulence models. He serves on editorial boards for journals such as Coastal Engineering and Applied Ocean Research.

Labs/Teams: Active in DTU’s Fluid Mechanics group, collaborating internationally on coastal dynamics and CFD applications.
