David Prawel

David Prawel is Associate Research Professor and Co-Director of the Biomaterials Research and Engineering Laboratory at Colorado State University. His research focuses on developing biomimetic bone scaffolds and biodegradable devices for orthopedic applications.

Research Focus: Designs patient-specific endoprosthetic devices and ceramic scaffolds using photopolymeric materials to accelerate healing of critical bone defects caused by trauma or cancer. Investigates how 3D-printed architecture influences biological integration and mechanical performance.
