David Pasbrig is an Associate Professor of Music Technology at Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance, where he has served as Recording Studio Director since 2011. Combining his expertise as a classical pianist and recording engineer, he has produced recordings for prominent labels including Naxos, Centaur, and Parma while maintaining an active performance schedule across the United States and Asia.
- Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Piano Performance from Temple University
- Master of Music degrees in Piano Accompanying/Chamber Music and Performance from Temple University
- Bachelor of Music degrees in Recording Sciences and Piano Performance from Peabody Institute
His research and professional work spans piano performance techniques, chamber music collaboration, and digital recording technologies. Notable engagements include performances at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and international collaborations with the Anne Sophie Mutter Foundation in Germany.
As a community outreach artist, Pasbrig has performed in unconventional venues like hospitals and prisons through Music For All Seasons. He is a founding member of the TRIPOD trio and has served as Associate Director of Keyboard Studies at Luzerne Music Center for a decade.
