His work bridges religious history, indigenous studies, and transatlantic colonial frameworks, particularly examining Dominican influences in early and late Atlantic contexts. The interdisciplinary nature of his scholarship connects Hispanic literary traditions with socio-religious transformations across colonial and modern eras.
Research funding includes a Committee on Aid to Faculty Research grant for "Dominicans in the Early and Late Atlantic World" (2013-2014), supporting investigation into Dominican Order activities across Atlantic historical periods.
