معرفی
David Nolte is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Purdue University, specializing in biophotonics and biomedical imaging. His research focuses on developing holographic technologies to analyze intracellular dynamics in living tissues, particularly for cancer drug discovery and infectious disease monitoring. Collaborating with John Turek from Basic Medical Sciences, he pioneered Holographic Tissue Dynamics Spectroscopy (TDS) to assess 3D tumor spheroid responses to chemotherapy. His work integrates optical coherence tomography, Doppler spectroscopy, and machine learning for personalized medicine applications. Nolte's interdisciplinary research also extends to geophysical fracture analysis using seismic wave monitoring and neural networks. He has contributed to clinical trials evaluating biodynamic imaging for predicting chemotherapy efficacy in breast and esophageal cancers. His innovations include the BioCD biosensor and dynamic-contrast OCT systems for real-time cellular activity tracking.
