Professor David Napier is the Chair of Medical Anthropology at University College London (UCL), where he leads the Centre for Applied Global Citizenship and the Science, Medicine and Society Network. A cross-sectoral collaborator in the Cities Changing Diabetes Programme since 2013, he focuses on Type-2 diabetes prevention in urban environments. His academic career spans prestigious institutions including Harvard, Oxford, and Johns Hopkins.

He has contributed to policy development and consulted for organizations like the UN and International Organization for Migration.
