David Mosser

David Mosser is a Professor in the Department of Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics (CBMG) at the University of Maryland, College Park, and Director of the Maryland Pathogen Research Institute (MPRI). He holds a PhD in Immunology from North Carolina State University (1983) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School (1985). His research focuses on macrophage biology, host-pathogen interactions, and immune responses to Leishmania infections. Mosser has held previous academic roles, including Assistant Professor at Cornell University and Professor at Temple University Medical School.
