Current projects explore temporal dimensions of meaning in his book-in-progress "Time, Meaning, and Nature," while prior scholarship includes the award-winning "Merleau-Ponty's Developmental Ontology" (2019) and "The Sense of Space" (2004).
His scholarly recognition includes:

- Concordia Emerging Academic Leadership Award (2017)
Morris actively mentors 9 current graduate students across Philosophy, Humanities, and Individualized Programs while maintaining oversight of 39 completed MA/PhD candidates. His academic leadership extends to General Secretary of the International Merleau-Ponty Circle, Executive Committee membership in the Society for Phenomenology and Existential Philosophy, and editorial roles at Continental Philosophy Review and Concordia University Press.
